Don't Be Hungry and Still Lose Weight

The conclusion was that people who experienced these feelings were work fatigued and experiencing work burnout. This strongly correlated with overeating of unhealthy foods at midday, and avoiding exercise since they felt too tired and lacking in energy. This led to weight gain due to consumption of excessive calories and lack of exercise.

What can be done to avoid weight gain as a result of work fatigue? Obviously this involves personal decisions about your individual situation. However you can take a look at your tasks and work schedule and plan a way to get the extra tasks done in one or two days of overtime work at most. If the work cannot be done in this time you simply have too much work and must find a way to cut back for your health's sake.

You need to take a long hard look at your job to see why you are continually exhausted at the end of the day. This is not normal and suggests that your work schedule is excessive and untenable. You then need to find ways to cut down on the amount of work you have to do. This may have to involve a frank talk with your employer, and if a satisfactory resolution can't be reached it may be time to look for another job.

Setting a goal to lose weight is a task that takes commitment to setting a plan and sticking with it. The plan needs to be achievable and enjoyable. Along the way adjustments in the plan may cause some changes but the goal should remain the same. Getting started does involve some lifestyle changes that will involve both physical activity and a healthy diet, the two go hand in hand when it comes to weight loss. The idea is to burn more calories daily then the calories consumed in the diet.
